I have had a myriad of experiences working in the health care field, the school system, being a mother and wife, and working with persons with serious mental illness and addiction. I know that all of my life experiences have contributed to my seasoning as a therapist. What I have gained along my life’s journey has repeatedly proved useful as I treat my clients. And I enjoy sharpening my knowledge and skills through continuing education about marital issues, narcissistic personality disorders, treatment modalities for anxiety, depression, and addictions among many other topics related to the counseling field and the needs of my clients.

You Are Meant To Be Happy

I believe we are meant to be happy and that with the right tools and motivation, peace and joy are possible to attain. No doubt, for most of us, our challenges in relationships and experiences of living can make this VERY difficult at times. Until we learn about ourselves— in a deeper and more meaningful way, we react to life ineffectively at times—creating even more problems for ourselves!

Therapy Can Assist

Therapy can assist you in gaining an awareness of yourself and of others with whom you interact. This understanding generates a more intentional way of thinking and behaving. When we feel more intentional, we have greater empowerment and experience a more fulfilling and effective life. Feeling this strength and confidence over ourselves allows us to feel calm and happy.
